The Trauma of Differences
2007.
Description
The politically correct ideology of the West rests precisely on the foundations of the worst possible perversion of differences and the Other. The other is our fortune and our curse. He is only tolerated as a member of a ghetto lifestyle. Gay identity, the black man, women and ahistorical nations form a system of perverse politics of cultural difference or identity politics. The end result is apparently acceptable to everyone. There is no longer a dominant Western culture that does not denounce its old sins such as colonialism and imperialism. But all this is just a cultural illusion or part of subtle etiquette. In fact, it shows a completely different constitution. She herself is traumatic. Being Other does not mean being a member of a social minority (national, religious, sexual). In contemporary Western societies, the experience of difference affects the entire world of life. Nothing is exempt - art, politics, religion, fashion. Today, cultural differences are no longer mere exoticism. They are part of a multicultural mosaic. But the problem is precisely in the construction of the mosaic. The walls between cultures were not torn down by the fall of the ideology of communism.
