A book of essays in which the author deals with the problem of the relationship between ideology and fin-de-siecle art. It is a sequel of sorts to the book "Postmodern Game of the World", which ends with an essay on the problem of the formation of the Croatian national state and culture, where the author uses his analytical and critical pen to reflect on the cultural policy that was ruling in Croatia until recently. In four chapters of this book of essays, Paić deals with the fate of art in totalitarian political regimes - fascism and communism - and Tuđman's politics is not spared from his criticism either. The texts from this book were previously published in the European Gazette, Novi list, Nova Istria, Cicero and on the Third Program of HR.
